ABOUT WILLOW COUNSELING

Hi, I’m Caity.

Therapist, coffee enthusiast, and person behind Willow Counseling.

A woman with curly hair sitting on a beige couch, smiling, holding a mug, in a cozy living room with a plant and books in the background.

I’m a licensed therapist in Kansas and Missouri with more than a decade of experience supporting women through trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges and perinatal mental health.

My approach is relational and down-to-earth. You can expect warmth, curiosity, humor and a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.

A space to heal and belong.

Therapy is a place where you can feel supported, encouraged, and comfortable bringing in the messy parts of life, too.

I believe connection is a big part of what makes therapy work, and my role is to be in your corner while we figure out what feels helpful, realistic, and doable in your everyday life.

Therapy that feels human.

Willow Counseling is a place to show up as you are— no pressure, no perfect words.

Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, notice patterns, and build new ways of relating to yourself and others. I’ll show up as a real person, too, with plenty of room for the very human moments along the way.

Beyond the therapy room.

Outside of work, you’ll find me with my husband and stepson, curled up with a good book, or on the lake trying to not tip my kayak. I love time with my friends and family— and chasing after my dog, Tater Tot, and my cat, Arson.

On the wall, a wall shelf displays plants, framed artwork, and a decorative clock, with two hanging plants on either side.

Training and experience.

I have 10+ years of experience helping women navigate the hard, complicated, and deeply human parts of life.
